Liverpool head to Old Trafford hoping to make it nine wins in a row to start the Premier League season. The Reds could also stretch the current league win record to a record-equalling 18 against bitter rivals Manchester United.
As if the stakes weren’t high enough the Liverpool boss has a personal record he will be desperate to change. Jurgen Klopp is yet to win at Old Trafford since he came to Merseyside in 2015.

The German manager does not have the best record against United. He has only picked up two wins in nine attempts in all competitions and both came at Anfield.
After four games against the Red Devils at Old Trafford, Klopp has emerged with three draws and one defeat. This record is undoubtedly a minor issue but the Liverpool boss will still want to put right.
The Reds have never been bigger favourites before heading to Old Trafford. Liverpool are perfect so far while Manchester United look nothing of the sort.
Klopp is a hero on Merseyside; Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hanging by a thread. The gulf in class is evident with one glimpse at the Premier League table.
Now Liverpool must prove it on the pitch by emerging victorious and ending the gaffer’s unwanted winless Old Trafford record.
