Bobby Duncan has enjoyed a fine start to his time in Italy.
The 18-year-old cousin of Steven Gerrard scored a screamer in a 3-0 win for Fiorentina’s U19 side. With that goal the former Liverpool prospect made it three strikes in as many games.
Despite his impressive form, the first-team football he left Anfield for is still nowhere to be seen.

Duncan’s Anfield exit came in dramatic fashion at the end of the summer transfer window. The player’s agent Saif Rubie levelled several accusations at the club regarding his young client.
Fiorentina eventually snagged the player for a fraction of his actual worth just one year after the academy starlet joined the club.
Duncan, despite his good form, should be disappointed with his start to life in Italy.
First-team opportunities are yet to come from Fiorentina who have consigned the player to their youth side.
The youngster finds himself in a worse position than the one he occupied at Anfield: playing for a team who are not on the level of Liverpool and still stuck in youth football. While the actual Liverpool youth players have already had a first-team chance this season.
Duncan should be kicking himself for being so impatient during his time on Merseyside.
