Have you ever noticed how many times ‘Liverpool’, ‘Champions’ and ‘title race’ come up in Manchester City’s interviews?

It’s like they are actually feeling blue at Liverpool’s perfect start, as numerous members have mentioned us again after their defeat against Norwich.

After Guardiola quipped: ‘Congratulations Liverpool, you are the champions’ (Daily Mail) in a post match interview, some players and fans took to the internet to use it as a joke.

It appears it has even affected De Bruyne, with the star apparently liking a Man City fan’s Instagram comment:

It’s quite funny actually, how their club feels threatened by us.

Ever since we knocked them out of the Champions League two years ago, they have created this bitter rivalry. They can’t resist mocking us at every corner- I mean, it tells you something when Kompany’s testimonial had half a squad full of ex-United players, but they just booed Carragher instead.

Not one of us thinks we have won the title race this early on.

The difference between them and Liverpool shows; where we take each game as it comes, they are looking way to far ahead into the future. Klopp has said many times how the League does not matter at this point- anything could happen from here on out.

We are just pleased to see our team win and get the three points.

Right now, the Liverpool team and fans are doing us proud by not rising to the bait. The players are trying their best every game and the fans continue to sing their support.

If we keep doing what we have been, we could have an even better season than the last.
