Liverpool’s reserve goalkeeper Simon Mignolet tweeted his praise for Alisson Becker following his performance in the stunning win over Barcelona.
Alisson made a string of brilliant saves to deny Suarez, Messi, Coutinho and Alba as Liverpool ran out 4-0 winners.
Mignolet, who has been forced out of the team by Alisson, was clearly impressed with what he saw from the sidelines.
The Belgian tweeted a picture of a celebrating Alisson and said: “What a performance from this man!”

It was another example as to the brilliant professional attitude Mignolet has shown since losing his place in Klopp’s side.
Mignolet has made only two appearances this season, coming in both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup defeats.
This comes after being usurped last season by Loris Karius, and amassing only 22 appearances in all competitions.
He could have spat his dummy out and sulked at his situation, but Mignolet has been a consummate professional.
Klopp and other members of the squad often comment on his work-rate and intensity in training, showing his sheer drive.
Mignolet may not be Liverpool’s first choice between the sticks, but he has remained well liked among colleagues and fans.
And it is probably for these reasons – he never lets his situation get him down.
We have seen players in the past, like Coutinho, down tools in order to force a transfer.
Mignolet has been playing no such games, and has instead worked hard and has actively cheered his competitor on.
His attitude has been very refreshing and will mean that when he leaves, it will be on good terms.
