Liverpool should target Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets in order to get the upper hand in their Champions League semi-final.
The midfield general, now 30, has looked suspect at times recently and has lacked his trademark assurance and composure.
This could prove to be a headache for Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night when Liverpool visit.

Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are synonymous for their gegenpressing tactics, pace and energy, and could cause Busquets real problems.
The likes of Henderson, Keita and Wijnaldum particularly will hassle, harry and force errors from Busquets high up the pitch.
This is without mentioning the presence of the famed front three of Salah, Firmino and Mané who are ferocious pressers.

While Busquets is immensely experienced, the exuberance and effervescence of this Liverpool side could rattle him.
If they can make him hurry up his game, not playing things at his pace, they could have some joy.
Any faults by Busquets would leave Barcelona wide open to a trademark rapid Liverpool counter attack that could be costly.

This is something Barcelona will be wary of, with Busquets in particular set for a potentially uncomfortable evening.
This tactic could prove crucial to Liverpool, as if they can win the midfield battle, they could dominate proceedings.
However, letting Barcelona get their foot on the ball and play the game their way could see Liverpool in trouble.

If Busquets is allowed time and space to find his colleagues, Liverpool will be under intense pressure for large periods.
But if they can stop Busquets in his tracks, there’s every chance they can get a good result.
