Jurgen Klopp should have both Fabinho and Joe Gomez to call upon when Liverpool travel to Southampton.
The Liverpool boss left Fabinho out of his starting lineup to face Tottenham Hotspur last week. It was a move that confused some, although Klopp says it was purely fitness-based.

“Fab couldn’t train one day a little bit, not long enough to really know how he reacts after the international break,” he said, according to the Mirror.
And the Mirror also claim that Klopp will recall Fabinho against the Saints. But that’s not the only good news.
The Telegraph say that Joe Gomez is fit to return to the matchday squad for Friday’s game.

Gomez struck up a formidable partnership with Virgil van Dijk at the start of the season before picking up an injury at the start of December.
He hasn’t played since, requiring surgery along the way, but he will reportedly be available for selection imminently.
Liverpool’s injury problems appear to be clearing up at a good time. This is the ‘business end’ of the season, after all, when every single game is vital.

The return of Gomez is a huge one. Liverpool will be hoping that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain & Rhian Brewster will be next, of course.
Things will be game at a time, however. For now, it’s just about Southampton and Klopp will be delighted to have Fabinho and Gomez available.
