Barcelona have listed Alberto Moreno as one of their three key transfer targets, according to reports. The Liverpool full-back is out of contract in the summer.
Spanish outlet Sport makes the claim, naming Moreno along with Luka Jovic and Matthijs De Ligt.

Reports have linked the other two names with moves to Liverpool, funnily enough. BILD claimed in November that Jurgen Klopp wanted Jovic, for instance, although also named Barcelona.
De Ligt, similarly, has been the subject of a link to Liverpool. The Daily Mail, for instance, named the Reds as having an interest recently, although they’ll apparently miss out to Barca.
But it instead looks as though all three of these players will end up at Camp Nou next season.

And that is, of course, mad.
Moreno to Barcelona
Has there ever been a greater case of a player ‘falling upwards’ than Moreno to Barcelona? This is a player who not only struggles to play but most considered to be a liability.
The left-back has only started four games this season, with two of those coming in the League and FA Cups.
Even when Liverpool face FC Porto without Andy Robertson, the expectation is that James Milner fills in. There was an entire season where Milner was considered to be the superior left-back, we shouldn’t forget.

Perhaps Barcelona see something different. Moreno was a success the last time he was in Spain, admittedly. He’s also a very direct, quick full-back and he is a natural backup to Jordi Alba in that sense.
He’s also free – which is almost certainly what this comes down to.
Whatever the reasons, Moreno is apparently a key target for Barcelona, and that’s just football.
