Serbia manager Mladen Krstajic has backed Liverpool target Luka Jovic to make the right decision with regards to choosing his next club.
Speaking to German website T-Online, he said: “First, I hope that he continues his form, that’s the most important to me.
“He should continue to develop well, then the right decisions will be made. I am convinced of that. All I can say is that of course I wish him all the best and the greatest possible success, and it is clear that he has enormous potential.
“He can achieve great things.”
Liverpool are likely to sign a new forward this summer with Daniel Sturridge leaving on a free transfer and Divock Origi seen as surplus to requirements.
Jovic would be the ideal player for Jurgen Klopp. His style of play is already very mature and he is quite prolific at the young age of 21. In 38 games this season, the Eintracht Frankfurt forward has been involved in 28 goals.
While someone like Mohamed Salah is quite versatile, Jovic is a more traditional number nine. His overall play is quite balanced but he is not suited to a wide role although he is very good at providing assists for fellow attackers.
His form this season means that there are many clubs tracking his progress and will likely cost his next side a fair amount to sign.
