Callum Hudson-Odoi has reportedly handed in a transfer request as he looks to force a move through to Bayern Munich which will come as a blow to any hopes Liverpool might have had of signing him.
The Reds are or were interested in CHO with his Chelsea career coming to an end.
Reports this week claimed that Liverpool were prepared to go toe-to-toe with Bayern for the fleet-footed forward.
However, Sky Sports News suggests that the 18-year-old has handed in a transfer request at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea have reportedly rejected a fourth bid from Bayern worth £35million.
Hudson-Odoi has rejected a new contract from Chelsea reportedly worth around £85,000 as he is keen to move to the Bundesliga.
In doing so, he will be following in the footsteps of Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson but for Liverpool, it means that unless they can promise game time and or a better financial package, CHO could soon be joining the Bavarians.
Timo Werner remains a target for Liverpool, and Bayern will rival the Reds for his signature this summer.
