Liverpool are eyeing a move for Dutch international Arnaut Danjuma Groeneveld while Pascal Gross is not a target for the Reds.
Mail Online report that Liverpool are looking to add to their Dutch contingent by signing the Club Brugge star.
AC Milan have already had a bid rejected for Groeneveld while the Reds are among the sides considering whether or not to make a move. The 21-year-old has played for Holland alongside Virgil van Dijk and Georginio Wijnaldum and scored past Simon Mignolet on his debut last year.
Klopp has recently said that circumstances will have to drastically change for Liverpool to dip into the January transfer market as he feels comfortable with the squad available to him.
Meanwhile, the man who gave conceded a penalty against Liverpool on Saturday, Pascal Gross, has been linked with a switch to Anfield but BBC Radio Merseyside sports editor Ian Kennedy has denied that a move is on for the German.
Asked if Gross was on Jurgen Klopp’s radar, he said: “Not really, I have to say. Obviously a very good player. The thing with Jurgen Klopp though, he never discusses transfers.
“As soon as someone mentions a rumour in a press conference, he completely shuts it down and says ‘we don’t talk about it’.
“He’s pretty good at not giving you any information.”
