Liverpool set to lose out on Christian Pulisic to Chelsea

German news outlet Bild claims that Liverpool are set to lose out in the race to sign Christian Pulisic, with the American agreeing personal terms with Chelsea.

With the Reds six points clear at the top of the Premier League, transfers might not be the main attraction for fans over the next month but as always, you cannot discount the thrill of seeing a class new player joining the club.

One player who has been linked with Liverpool since before they had an £11million bid rejected by Dortmund in 2016 is Pulisic and now reports in Germany claim that he is nearing a move to Chelsea.

The Blues are looking to a creative midfielder to help Eden Hazard share the load as well as find a potential replacement for the Belgian as uncertainty remains over his future with the Blues.

Bild claims that Chelsea have an agreement in place to sign Pulisic in the summer having been told by Dortmund that he isn’t allowed to leave in the January transfer window.
