Liverpool fullback Trent Alexander Arnold has praised Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos and said the Spaniard needs to be respected even if he was “the enemy’ in May.
As much as I’d like to move on as soon as possible, Sergio Ramos is continuously a talking point in the media in relation to the part he played part in the injury which saw Mohamed Salah forced off the pitch in the Champions League final in May.
Several times, Klopp and Liverpool players have been asked for their view of things and the most recent is young Trent Alexander Arnold. The young fullback might not please Liverpool fans with the comments he has made on Ramos.
Speaking to the Guardian, Trent says that Ramos needs to be respected and has been the best central defender in the world for a few years.
Trent said: “Everyone has their ways of winning and he has shown over the last 10 years that he’s a winner.

“So has his team. To win the Champions League three times in a row takes some doing. Ramos has probably been the best centre back in the world for some time.
“Even if he was the enemy in May you still have to respect him as a player.”
He might have played a massive role in Liverpool losing the Champions League final but there is no denying that Ramos’ shithousery has helped Real Madrid win several trophies in the last few years.
