Jamie Carragher has said that Mohamed Salah is unstoppable when he is running with the ball at his feet.
Liverpool were superb last season with their best football being played in the Champions League final. Mohamed Salah was one of the Reds key performers, scoring 10 goals on the way to Kiev and while his side lost, his displays leading to that point were phenomenal.
The Egyptian was particularly impressive in aggregate wins over Manchester City and Roma in the knockout stages and showcased his electric pace to guide the club to its first Champions League final in over 10 years.
Jamie Carragher has spoken about Salah and how the forward can be unstoppable when running with the ball at his feet.
“You can talk about stopping players but the one thing that you cannot stop a player doing is running,” Carragher told Sky Sports.
“He makes great diagonal runs in that left channel between the centre-back and left-back and he’s quicker than most defenders. He is not wide, he is very narrow and it ensures that he is always in position to score. It is no flash in the pan.”
With two goals and an assist in his first three Premier League games of the season, Salah has picked up where he left off last season.
