Liverpool fans have responded to the news that Ragnar Klavan could leave the club imminently in search of regular game time.
On Monday evening, Echo reporter James Pearce wrote that the Estonian may depart this summer.
“Ragnar Klavan could leave Liverpool before the end of the month,” Pearce writes. “The Reds will listen to offers for the 32-year-old centre-back, who is keen to secure more regular game time.
“But if the right opportunity doesn’t come up then he will remain a valued member of the squad for the 2018/19 campaign.”
Fans on social media, however, have said that Klavan should be allowed to leave as there is enough depth in the central defensive slots.
Klavan is a fan favourite at Anfield and although he is not an extraordinary talent, it would be sad to see him go.
Fans on social media share this belief.
