Liverpool and England winger Sheyi Ojo has moved to Championship side Fulham on a season long loan for the 2017/18 campaign.

I’m quite a big fan of this loan move to be honest.

I really liked Ojo back towards the end of the 2015/16 season when he broke into the first-team on a rotation basis and notched up a handful of Premier League assists, displaying pace and the ability to produce a sensational left-footed cross almost at will.

The English youngster struggled last campaign due to a back injury that kept him sidelined for a number of months and with Ryan Kent performing so well over the summer, as well as the club boasting the likes of Mohamed Salah, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mané, it was always going to be tough for him to get first-team opportunities.

Ojo has previously spent time out on loan at Wolverhampton and Wigan, impressing on both stints, so hopefully, we’ll get more of the same from the promising 20-year-old and he can return a better, more experienced player.

Best of luck for the season ahead, Sheyi!
