Paul Joyce has claimed that Liverpool “will challenge” for Monaco wonder kid Kylian Mbappé’s signature if he opts for a move to England over Spain.
Before you get excited, there is a HUGE if involved in any potential bid for Kylian Mbappé.
Paul Joyce believes that the Reds will challenge for the AS Monaco wonder kid’s signature and that all reported interest is genuine. Joyce reports that the Reds had an enquiry rejected last summer for the French striker and that “if England becomes a realistic destination for the player,” that the Reds will go head-to-head with Arsenal for his signature.
Arsene Wenger is said to be just as interested as Jürgen Klopp and is prepared to go all out in order to make the prodigy his statement signing of the summer. Despite claims yesterday in Spanish publication Marca that the Reds had bid a mouth-watering £88m to the French club, Joyce reports that no official offer has yet been made.

The player has reportedly got his heart set on a move to Spain to join European champions Real Madrid but IF the Frenchman changes his mind and opts for a move to England instead, then Liverpool want to be “part of the conversation.”
Mbappé enjoyed a hugely successful debut campaign in 2016/17, scoring 26 goals in 44 appearances in all competitions and leading AS Monaco to the Ligue 1 title and the semi-finals of the Champions League. All at just 18 years of age old.
While it seems incredibly unfeasible, it is at least encouraging to know that the Reds would be willing to get right amongst the crowd if the Frenchman by some miracle opted to turn down the glamour and money of a move to Real Madrid this summer.
What do you think? Do the Reds have any chance of snapping up the Frenchman?
