Jack Hallows took to Twitter to ask for the players that you, our readers, are hoping for Liverpool FC to sign this summer.
Twitter has spoken.
I asked you lot last night to tell me one player that you would love to see Liverpool sign this summer and you didn’t disappoint!
Reply to this with ONE player you’d love to see #LFC sign this Summer – preferably realistic.
Will be using the results in an article.

From young talent like Otavio from Porto, to fan favourites such as Alexandre Lacazette, there was a truly vast array of responses. Here’s what you came up with!
Time to sign some defenders Jürgen!
We need a solid defender who doesn’t make as many mistakes as Lovren.

Out of the 60 or so responses that we got, at least a third of them asked for the Reds to sign a new defensive player.
Van Dijk, Kalidou Koulibaly and Bilbao’s Aymeric Laporte were all popular choices for a new centre back while Benjamin Mendy was the dominant left back pick! Interestingly, despite Simon Mignolet’s late resurgence last season, Jordan Pickford was also mentioned by some.

Goals, goals, goals
Interestingly, even though the Reds managed to score 76 Premier League goals last season, a number of responses were under the impression that we need a new goalscorer up front. From Lacazette, to Gabigol, to Lukaku… here’s who you suggested!
Balde Keita. Fast, Prolofic foward that can play central and out wide. Lacazzete and Werner are good alternatives.

ok going outside the box with this one But they should sign Gabigol from Inter/only 20/was just as good as Neymar @ santos

There was also one other interesting midfield alternative to the Guinean mentioned from a club that us Liverpool fans know all too well.

The money doesn’t matter crew
Of course, there were a few people who evidently weren’t going to be satisfied with anything other than a truly world class, marquee name. Sorry guys but I don’t think Gareth Bale will be heading to Merseyside anytime soon!
Bale… its worth a shot
