Jürgen Klopp has been looking to add an attacking star to his ranks in the summer and has now identified teenage sensation Ousmane Dembele as his next transfer target.
The Reds are currently in the top four in the Premier League and have a decent chance of qualifying for the elite competition next season.
They have a good squad at the moment but will need a few additions in various positions in the squad to help them compete with the best next season.
This has seen Klopp linked with some exciting stars recently and the latest name doing the rounds at Anfield is Borussia Dortmund star Ousmane Dembele
Constantly linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona, Dembele has been in superb form this season for the German outfit, having made the switch in the summer from Rennes.
He has six goals in 23 appearances so far this season for his side and has also made it into the French national team, making three influential appearances already.
At 19, he is one of the most exciting youngsters in world football at the moment and Klopp is now determined to land him at the end of the season.
According to reports from the Mirror, Klopp is desperate to add a couple of young guns to his squad next season to facilitate the overall development of the squad.
The report goes on to suggest that he has been looking at Dembele for some time now and that he is now convinced to spend what it takes to get the player to Anfield this summer.
Klopp will hope that his relations with the German outfit Borussia Dortmund could give him an edge in luring him to England and Klopp wants to beat Barcelona to his signature.
Nottingham Forest 17-year-old forward Ben Brereton is also on Klopp’s radar as he looks to add some more mettle to this impressive attack at the club.
