2. First league win at Chelsea
After recording draws in his first two Premier League matches against Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton, Klopp’s third league match in charge saw Liverpool take on then-defending champions Chelsea.
José Mourinho’s men initially took the lead at Stamford Bridge but the Reds gave themselves hope to turn the match around before half-time with a well-taken goal by Philippe Coutinho.
The second half would see the tables completely turn in favour of Klopp’s men as Coutinho added a second before a Christian Benteke third saw Liverpool win the match 3-1.
This victory represented far more than just Klopp’s first league win in charge, it was the first time that Liverpool fans witnessed heavy metal football in full flow and the travelling Kopites were loving it.
