It’s back. After two weeks of international football action, the Premier League is back and set to continue this weekend with an epic bang.

Round 3 of the 2016/17 campaign started off with a huge clash, which saw Liverpool return to North London for the second time this season. The Reds faced Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane and despite being the dominant side for most parts of the game, Jurgen Klopp’s men were left ruing their missed opportunities as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.

The rest of the round saw Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United continue their one hundred percent starts to the season with wins over Burnley, West Ham United and Hull City respectively.

Merseyside neighbors Everton edged out Stoke City 1-0 at home whilst Southampton and Crystal Palace recorded respective 1-1 draws at home to Sunderland and Bournemouth. West Bromwich Albion drew a blank against new boys Middlesbrough and the weekend also saw Arsenal and champions Leicester City earn their first wins of the season over Watford and Swansea City respectively.

Whilst international team managers were given the chance to work on their squads ahead of respective major tournaments, club managers in the Premier League used the break to analyse their starts to the season, as well as maintain their squad’s fitness levels by putting their non-international players through some friendly matches – so fans will be pleased to hear that no one was slacking off during the break and that their sides will be raring to go this weekend.

I’ll most certainly be raring to go as well with this latest round of predictions after gameweek 3 saw me correctly predict seven results, two of which were perfect scorelines.

So, here we go again!
