Liverpool’s next big talent, Mateusz Musialowski, was called up to the senior side’s training session as was Melkamu Frauendorf.
The Reds are preparing to face Arsenal in the Premier League with the international break coming to a close and Jurgen Klopp has brought younger faces into the squad.
They’re likely not going to be training week in and week out but it’s good for the Academy stars to get a taste of what it’s like being in the first-team picture to motivate them to work hard to get back there.
Melkamu Frauendorf is a lesser-known name but the club’s official website describes him as “an attacking midfielder with an eye for goal”.
Musialowski, on the other hand, is already quite well-known by fans on social media, with the Polish talent often described as being similar to Lionel Messi or Philippe Coutinho.
According to Transfermarkt, the 18-year-old has 15 goals and 3 assists for the Reds U18 Premier League side and is one of the biggest talents the club has.
We’ve seen what Jurgen Klopp has been able to accomplish with the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones and more recently with Harvey Elliott before his injury.
It would come as no surprise to see Musialowski and even Frauendorf get into the senior squad, make an impression and even begin playing regularly under the German Liverpool manager.
Hopefully, that’s the case and with Musialowski dubbed “the reincarnation of Coutinho”, if he gets into the side it only means there will be more excitement at Anfield.
