Fans want to see Hwang Hee-chan join Liverpool

After a report from the Mirror linked him with a move to Liverpool, fans want to see the club sign Hwang Hee-chan in what would be a repeat of Diogo Jota’s move to Anfield.

According to The Sunday Mirror (14/11, p70), Liverpool and Manchester City are interested in signing the South Korean and the Reds might just already have the upper hand.

Liverpool signed Diogo Jota last summer for a fee that could reach £45m. It was a signing that surprised a few supporters but has turned out to be another of Michael Edwards’ genius signings.

If there is the possibility to repeat the move and sign Hwang in January or next summer, Liverpool must act. So far, the former RB Salzburg star has been in fantastic form for Wolves.

He has scored 4 goals for the Premier League side in 8 games and has been their most likely source of goals ahead of Raul Jimenez on his return to football after his horrific head injury.

Liverpool could really do with signing the 25-year-old in January when Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah will be at AFCON but with his loan to buy deal only set to come into effect at the end of the season, it’s a tricky one.

My Revenge On Ben Foster

Wolves have him on loan until June and will buy him from Leipzig but he really seems like the type of player that the Reds would buy and turn into one of the best in his position.

Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to urge Liverpool to sign Hwang.
