Liverpool fans can watch Dusan Vlahovic closely this evening

Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for Dusan Vlahovic this past week and fans can keep a close eye on the forward during the international break.

The Serie A hitman has most recently been linked with Liverpool by Italian news outlet Calciomercato, who suggested that the Reds sent scouts to watch him play against Juventus, while also keeping a close watch on Federico Chiesa.

Juve won the game 1-0 courtesy of a 91st-minute strike from Juan Cuadrado. While he was unusually quiet, Vlahovic netted a hat-trick in his previous match, showing his poacher’s instinct against Spezia.

Liverpool fans can watch him in action this evening as Serbia face Qatar in an international friendly. Most fans have likely only seen him on YouTube and tonight represents a chance to get a closer look at the 21-year-old.

The forward is valued at €60 million (£51.2m) so Liverpool will need to invest quite heavily to sign him. But his form over the last year has been very impressive.

Since the start of last season, Vlahovic, who reportedly earns £26,000 per week, has scored 31 goals and is really coming into his own.

He is primed for a big move and, while he’s not quite at the level you would expect the likes of Real Madrid to be interested in, Liverpool specialise in signing young players and developing them into the world’s best.

My Revenge On Ben Foster

There certainly isn’t a better manager to inspire a promising young attacker than Jurgen Klopp. Robert Lewandowski, Marco Reus, Mo Salah and Sadio Mane are proof of the German’s coaching talent.
