Jude Bellingham excites fans with deleted tweet to transfer story

Borussia Dortmund wonderkid, Jude Bellingham, has sparked even more speculation over a move to Liverpool after he replied to a tweet about his future.

On Monday, I covered a story from Craig Hignett, who claims that the 18-year-old is ‘Liverpool bound’ and, while he is unsure whether or not the teenager will join in January or next summer, he has it “on good authority that it is almost a cert.”

Whether or not that story has legs or not, Bellingham has given the BVB press team a fire to put out after he replied to a tweet from Four Four Two which suggested that he has been telling people he will be a Liverpool player next year.

The tweet has obviously since been deleted and even if it hadn’t been, it’s not as though it guaranteed he would be joining the club but Liverpool fans are getting excited.

Bellingham is one of the most thrilling players in the world and he’s not even 19 yet.

When he played against Manchester City in the Champions League last season, Pep Guardiola jokingly accused him of lying about his age as he couldn’t believe a player as good as him could be so young.

He was 17 at the time too. The BVB midfielder had a goal incorrectly disallowed that could have shaped the tie had it been given, but it was the maturity that Bellingham played with that was so impressive.

It’s plainly obvious that he is going to be one of the best in the world one day and, if Liverpool can beat Chelsea and the Manchester clubs to his signature, they will be setting themselves up for a long time.
