Alisson Becker – 9

What you can say? He wasn’t called upon often but he was solid when we was and he was excellent as ever on the ball.

Trent Alexander-Arnold – 9

The Scouser in our team with another assist, like clockwork. He is just too good.

Virgil van Dijk – 9

He doesn’t even break a sweat. Just cool, calm and collected throughout.

Joel Matip – 9

The Reds’ most memed player begs for a midfield one-two every game. He got one this time out and it led to a goal.

Andy Robertson – 7.5

The Scotland captain was found wanting on the back foot at times but he wasn’t punished.

Fabinho – 9

The Lighthouse commanded the midfield and got a goal for his troubles.

Harvey Elliott – 10

Utterly heartbroken. Just no other words. Get better soon, Harv.

Thiago – 9

We said pre-match that Thiago will run the show. Thiago ran the show.

Mo Salah – 9

The Egyptian King was in excellent form. He didn’t give his marker a rest all game.

Sadio Mane – 9

Persistence. Pays. Off.

Diogo Jota – 7

The Portugal forward was unlucky not to score, a strong performance.
