Luis Garcia reacts to amusing Instagram edit from Jose Enrique

Former Liverpool star Luis Garcia has reacted on Instagram after Jose Enrique posted an amusing edit in the aftermath of Friday’s Champions League draw.

The Reds were drawn to face Real Madrid in the quarter-finals of the competition next month, setting up a mouth-watering repeat of the 2018 final.

The edit was created via social media platform TikTok, which incorporates a number of Liverpool stars as characters from Marvel Cinematic Universe’s blockbuster film, Avengers: End Game.

With Jordan Henderson cast as Steve Rodgers, James Milner as Bruce Banner and Andy Robertson as Natasha Romanoff, Liverpool’s first-team stars can be seen reacting to a repeat of the Madrid clash similarly to that of the Avengers who used the infinity stones to go back in time and change the course of the universe.

What makes this video stand out is the usage of Diogo Jota as Captain Marvel; who is the secret weapon the heroes didn’t have beforehand, who will give the Reds that required boost to take down Zinedine Zidane’s Galacticos on the second time of asking.

Mohamed Salah fittingly has taken the role of the revenge-driven Thor, with the Egyptian winger, especially, looking to put an end to the demons of Kyiv two years ago.

Raphinha, Coutinho and Tielemans: The signings Liverpool could make this summer

We’d like to think that if the role of Thanos were cast down to one of Real Madrid’s all-stars, there is no doubt that the notorious Sergio Ramos would be perfect for the role.

In our honest opinion, this edit is just perfect. The imagination to combine both strikingly different scenarios together fits together with ease.

Hopefully, similarly to The Avengers, Liverpool can take down Ramos (Thanos) and his band of Madrid villains down on the second attempt, having been presented with another shot at destiny.

Garcia was one of the top footballing figures to react to the social media clip. The Champions League-winning commented on Enrique’s post complementing the creativity of the original editor.
