Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction after Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Ozan Kabak was a ‘doubt’ for Sunday’s game against Fulham.
The Reds boss confirmed that the 20-year-old defender had sustained a knock during the 1-0 defeat to Chelsea on Thursday.
The reigning Premier League champions are due to welcome Scott Parker and his team to Anfield this weekend off the back of five consecutive home defeats.
Klopp on Kabak
Liverpool’s official club website quotes Klopp as saying: “Ozan had yesterday after the game a little problem.
“He has played a lot of games now and we will see if he is ready for Fulham. It doesn’t look like in the moment, so we will have to find solutions.”

Kabak has started in Liverpool’s previous five consecutive matches – alongside three different centre-back partners – following his deadline day switch from Schalke.
However, Kabak is expected to join Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip and Jordan Henderson in Liverpool’s growing list of defensive casualties.
There was some rare positive news on the injury front, though, with Nathaniel Phillips expected to be fit in time for Fulham, despite missing the Chelsea game in midweek.
Klopp also confirmed that Ben Davies – who signed from Preston North End on deadline-day – could also be in contention to make his inaugural Liverpool appearence.
“Nat I think will be ready, Ben as well,” Klopp added.
“For Ben, it’s not easy. In our situation, we brought him in and he has to adapt, all these kind of things.
“He is a really good player, but we just have to try to make sure that the people who play with each other… if you bring one new player and then a second new player, it changes everything. We have to see.
“The game could come too quick for Ozan but Nat should be ready and Ben anyway.”
So, with Kabak a major doubt for the weekend, it seems that Klopp could be set to utilise his 20th alternative centre-back pairing this season if Davies does indeed feature.
