Ozan Kabak awaits his fifth consecutive start as a Liverpool player following his deadline-day switch from Schalke.
He has started in each of the Reds’ previous games against the likes of Leicester, RB Leipzig, Everton and Sheffield United, he is still waiting for his first Anfield win.
Could it come tonight? Kabak isn’t the only player hopeful of ending his Anfield hoodoo against Thomas Tuchel, either.
Remarkably, Thiago Alcantara, despite signing for Liverpool last summer, is still searching for a first win at the home of the English champions.
Both players sent messages on Instagram ahead of the clash, as Jurgen Klopp’s team make their final preparations for the gargantuan Anfield showdown.

Kabak could either partner Fabinho or Nathaniel Phillips at the heart of Klopp’s defensive contingent this evening.
According to The Mirror, Klopp could be tempted to bring the latter back into the starting XI following a four-week lay-off with injury.
Whether Fabinho is to be utilised in defence or midfield, however, remains to be seen. If he does partner Kabak, then, it will represent Liverpool’s 19th alternate centre-back pairing this season.
Meanwhile, both Diogo Jota and Naby Keita will both reportedly begin the clash against Chelsea from the bench.
With that said, it’s likely that Klopp will retain Thiago, Gini Wijnaldum and Curtis Jones in midfield for a fourth successive fixture.
Liverpool also have Ben Davies back and available for this fixture, although unlike Kabak, he is still waiting for his first appearance since making a deadline-day switch from Preston North End.
