A number of Liverpool supporters have taken to Twitter after Diogo Jota was spotted back in full training at the AXA Training Centre on Wednesday afternoon.
The Portuguese international, who signed from Wolves last summer in a £45 million [BBC] deal, has been sidelined for more than two months following a knee injury.
However, he was able to take part in a full session on Wednesday afternoon in what represents a major boost for Jurgen Klopp’s injury-ridden squad.
The reigning English champions have been forced to combat a number of injury struggles this season, with Jordan Henderson the latest casualty to join Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip in the treatment room.
Jota, 24, picked up the knee injury during a Champions League dead-rubber against FC Midtjylland back on December 9.

It curtailed what was arguably the best form of Jota’s career so far, with the former Atletico Madrid man clocking up nine goals in 17 matches prior to the injury.
It remains to be seen whether the 10-time Portugal international will make his long-awaited return at Bramall Lane on Sunday.
Liverpool will be looking to put an end to a woeful run of results that has seen four consecutive Premier League defeats, culminating in the 2-0 defeat to Merseyside rivals Everton on Saturday.
Following Jota’s return to the first-team set-up, a number of supporters took to Twitter to react.
Jota will undoubtedly look to inject some much-needed spark into an attacking unit whose powers in front of goal have dried up of late.
