Ozan Kabak has showcased his excitement ahead of his return to Europe’s premier competition by sending a message to Liverpool supporters on Twitter.
Kabak, 20, is in-line for his inaugural Champions League appearance of the season following his deadline-day loan switch from Schalke.
The seven-time Turkey international hasn’t featured in the competition since 2018, following his playing days with Galatasaray.
And nearly two-and-a-half years since his previous European outing, Kabak is in contention to feature in Liverpool’s last-16 first leg against RB Leipzig.
Ahead of the clash in Budapest, Kabak had a message for Kopites all around the world.

The game itself is scheduled to be played in Budapest, Hungary, after Liverpool were banned from travelling to Germany due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Liverpool will be without Fabinho and James Milner for the European encounter after reports from Goal indicated that Jurgen Klopp will be without both of his midfield generals.
Kabak, then, could be expected to retain his place in the team following on from his Premier League debut against Leicester City on Saturday.
Who Klopp chooses to partner alongside the former Stuttgart defender, however, remains to be seen.
The likelihood, though, is that the Liverpool boss will continue to utilise club-captain Jordan Henderson at the heart of defence.
Starting either Ben Davies or Nat Phillips would be a huge risk given both players’ inexperience in the competition.
