Liverpool midfielder Dominic Corness has committed his long-term future to the club having put pen-to-paper on his first professional contract.
Corness, 17, has been with the Academy since the age of five and broke onto the scene with the under-18’s last term.
Renowned for his his qualities in central midfield, Corness has continued his progression this season under Marc Bridge-Wilkinson.
He has clocked up 12 appearances in the U18s Premier League North, with the young Reds gridlocked in an exciting title battle with Manchester United.
The England youth international has a wand of a left-foot, which came into deadly effect during the inaugural match of the 2020/21 campaign against Stoke City, where he remarkably scored twice directly from corners.
Corness celebrated his contract extension with the Reds by taking to Instagram to showcase his delight upon agreeing on fresh terms with his boyhood club.
A number of his Liverpool teammates were quick to respond to the contract news including the likes of Harvey Elliott, Layton Stewart, Owen Beck, Jake Cain, Leighton Clarkson and James Balagizi.
