Diogo Jota has delighted Liverpool fans as he confirmed that he is close to a return to full fitness.
Jota, 24, has been missing with a knee injury since December 9, and has missed the Reds’ previous 12 matches, as a result.
However, the Portuguese ace was back at the club’s AXA Training Centre on Wednesday morning as he speeds up his recovery process.
His former Wolves teammate and international compatriot Pedro Neto was certainly pleased to see Jota making significant strides in his recovery.

The 20-year-old sent the nine-goal Liverpool forward a message on Jota’s Instagram page.
Jota a welcomed boost for Klopp
Jota’s imminent return could hardly be timed better, consider the run of fixtures awaiting Liverpool this month.
According to Goal, the eight-time Portugal international is expected to return for Liverpool in early February, which indicates his recall to Jurgen Klopp’s senior squad isn’t too far away, then.
While it is unlikely Jota will feature against either Brighton or Manchester City in the coming days, he could make a welcomed return against Leicester City on February 8.
With a Champions League last-16 clash against RB Leipzig to follow shortly after, Liverpool will hope their prolific forward will be up to speed by then.
Liverpool’s decision to loan out Takumi Minamino to Southampton, too, indicates that Klopp is confident the attacking firepower of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Jota will be enough to see the Reds through until the end of the season.
