Incoming signing Ozan Kabak is taking a step towards completing his Liverpool move…
The recently confirmed Reds centre-back posted an image from a private jet on Tuesday morning which is Merseyside-bound. There he will finally be unveiled as a Liverpool player.
Jurgen Klopp was asked about about his latest defensive recruit last night and spoke glowingly about him.
Klopp told the club’s official website: “He came very young to Germany and everybody was clear he was a massive talent.
“For him, I think it’s a really good moment to make the move because, like each player in the world, you need a stable team around you and that’s what we can deliver.

“He’s really a big, big talent and we are really looking forward to working with him.”
Journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the deal for Liverpool to sign Kabak is a loan-to-buy option and no obligation. If Klopp chooses to pursue a permanent deal, €30m has been mooted as a potential final fee with a five-year contract offer.
Kabak’s debut could take place in the coming days with fixtures against Brighton and Manchester City scheduled for Wednesday and Sunday.
It represents an ideal acquisition from Liverpool’s perspective, at least. Klopp is able to watch him first-hand in the coming months before making a final decision on his long-term Anfield prospects.
Committing a big sum of money was something Liverpool’s sporting director Michael Edwards was careful to avoid for a 20-year-old centre-back arriving from a team bottom of the Bundesliga.
It is far better to get the youngster in and gauge a better understanding if the club really is intent on laying down a £25m – £30m investment.
