Paris Saint Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino could be open to the potential sale of Kylian Mbappe, according to reports – and Liverpool supporters have reacted on Twitter.
Mbappe, 22, is currently contracted at the Parc de Princes until 2022 and has been extensively linked with a summer move to either Real Madrid or Liverpool.
With Mbappe’s contract drawing close to its expiration date, PSG could be forced to cash-in on the Frenchman this summer if they are to receive maximum value for their most valuable asset.
Pochettino open to sale?
According to The Express, Pochettino could be prepared to sell Mbappe if it means PSG signing Argentine duo Lionel Messi and Sergio Aguero. Both attacking superstars are out-of-contract at the end of the season, after all.
As a result, if the Ligue 1 champions were to land the forward duo, who combined have clocked up a whopping 1022 goals in club football, they could be forced to sell one of their best players to balance out the books.

The report claims that Mbappe’s departure would be the most likely given Neymar’s pre-existing relationship with Messi at Barcelona.
Also, Mbappe has already revealed that he has no intentions of remaining at the club beyond the end of the season, as per The Times.
As a result, it is only natural that a move to one of European football’s biggest heavyweights would follow suit for Mbappe.
Jurgen Klopp has previously ruled out the possibility of signing Mbappe, but circumstances could change if one of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane or Roberto Firmino were to leave.
The former, in particular, has also been linked with a big-money move to Real Madrid, after all. That’s according to Spanish publication AS.
