What RTK has to say – Should Liverpool move for Botman?
On the face of it, a move for Botman makes sense. He has a strong aerial presence – similar to Van Dijk – and is a real solid passer.

Also, considering his price-tag is set at £15 million, as per The Mirror, Liverpool could have themselves a bargain.
However, with Liverpool, unfortunately, transfers are never that easy.
For one, Liverpool have to determine if he is indeed a long-term target worth investing in.
If the Reds decide Botman does match up, then there’s a lot to be excited about. He’s already proven he can adapt in a new country and footballing environment with ease, after all.
There’s enormous room for growth, too. Lille’s current financial situation also opens the door to a potential bargain. This is a transfer Liverpool won’t want to pass off too easiliy.
