Real Madrid have made Mohamed Salah their top-transfer target this summer, according to reports – and Liverpool supporters have reacted on Twitter amid the latest exit rumours.
This comes from talkSPORT. They talk about how Zinedine Zidane is ready to make his move for Salah this summer.
Salah, 28, has been highly touted with an Anfield exit in recent weeks following an interview with Spanish publication AS. The Egyptian forward failed to rule out a move to La Liga, after all.
His current contract at Anfield is due to expire in 2023. With that said, this summer could represent Liverpool’s best opportunity at securing maximum value for a player approaching 30.
Will Liverpool be inclined to sell Salah?
Salah has amassed 176 appearances for Liverpool since signing from Roma in 2017. During that time, he has clocked up a whopping 110 goals and 45 assists.

He has won both the Premier League and Champions League with the Reds. As such, he could be forgiven for wanting to pursue a new challenge.
His statistical output at Anfield is nothing shy of ridiculous. With that said, it is only natural that the biggest clubs would want to sign one of the world’s best players currently at his peak.
Madrid have failed to address a goalscoring void at the club ever since Cristiano Ronaldo left for Juventus in 2018. The addition of Salah would certainly address such an issue.
After all, he has registered 82 goals and 29 assists in the Premier League since arriving on Merseyside – 20 more goal contributions than any other player in the English top-flight over that period.
Liverpool could be open to the possibility of selling Salah if reports surrounding Kylian Mbappe are deemed to be true. According to AS, Madrid and the Reds are the two favourites to land the Frenchman.
Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are all approaching 30 and Liverpool’s pedigreed front-three won’t be around for ever. As a result, the Reds could look at a succession plan in the summer.
The prospect of Salah moving on is certainly a hard one for Kopites to envisage. Luckily the reports surrounding Mbappe have helped soften the blow.
Here are a selection of responses from Reds fans reacting to the latest Salah reports.
