Liverpool academy duo Harvey Blair and Luca Stephenson both look to have put pen-to-paper on new contract extensions with the club. The 17-year-old pair announced the news on Instagram.
Strong start for U18s
Blair and Stephenson have both impressed greatly for the young Reds this season.
The club’s U18s, who are managed by Marc Bridge-Wilkinson, are currently second in the Premier League North U18 standings – trailing Manchester United by three points.
Blair, 17, joined the Reds from United as as U12 back in 2015/16. The teenager has clocked up four appearances this term, scoring two goals.
Meanwhile, Stephenson, 17, joined the Reds from Sunderland at U15 level. He signed his first professional deal with the club back in September 2020.

What RTK has to say
First and foremost, congratulations to two very talented and promising Liverpool talents.
It’s always encouraging to see young players rewarded for their contributions. Both players are more than deserving of such.
We’ll be keen to see how both players develop as the U18s set to kick-off the New Year with a titanic clash against title rivals United on January 16.
The match is due to take place before Liverpool’s first team also welcome United to Anfield on the following day.
