Thiago, 29, has been missing with a knee injury since October 17, but was pictured back in training yesterday.
And now the Spaniard has confirmed that he is close to making a return to action on Twitter.
Thiago’s injury could hardly be timed better, talk about an early Christmas present for both Jurgen Klopp and supporters.
The former Bayern Munich maestro has clocked up just 135 minutes of action since joining the Reds in the summer.

His return to training could see Thiago in contention for a potential Anfield debut against West Brom on Sunday.
James Milner and Xherdan Shaqiri were also back at Liverpool’s AXA Training Centre in Kirkby.
The triple boost immediately enhances Liverpool’s title aspirations with the English champions currently four points clear at the league summit.
Not only does it immediatley boost Klopp’s squad numbers but it adds a truly world class talent in the form of Thiago.
When everyone is fit, this is by far the best and deepest Liverpool squad in a very, very long time.
