Atta, 15, joined Palace in 2017 after the Eagles paid a guaranteed £600,000 to sign him from their south-London rivals Milwall after fending off competition from Arsenal and Tottenham.

Palace now how a fight on their hands to maintain Atta’s short-term career prospects at Selhurst Park after he was tied down to a scholarship deal at the start of the year.

Premier League champions Liverpool, as well as Manchester City, are currently the two biggest parties from England touted with an interest for the in-demand teenager.

The Mail reports that Atta is also being monitored in Germany with Bayern Munich, Borussia Monchengladbach and Augsburg fighting for the youngster’s signature.

He is unable to sign a professional deal until he turns 17 in early 2022 although that hasn’t stopped a number of European heavyweights in making their interest known early.

What RTK has to say

Given such a widespread level of interest, Atta seems a player with tremendous potential and one that would certainly be of interest to a club of Liverpool’s reputation.

When you consider the likes of Curtis Jones, Harvey Elliott, Neco Williams, Rhys Williams and Billy Koumetio, it becomes apparent that despite their status as champions of England, Liverpool still take great pride in handing a platform for up-and-coming talent to make that next step in the professional game.

The Reds signed Elliott from Fulham back in 2019, who was also on a scholarship deal at Craven Cottage before making the switch to Anfield.

Liverpool also recently signed 17-year-old goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga from Fluminense earlier this summer as the club looks to identify the next crop of potential Premier League challengers.
