Liverpool stars react as Tom Hill agrees new contract extension

Liverpool midfielder Tom Hill has committed his long-term future to the club having put pen-to-paper on a new contract with the Reds.

The Academy graduate has been awarded with a new bumper deal just a day after his 18th birthday which enabled the teenager to sign fresh terms on the preexisting professional contract he signed back in February.

The 2019/20 campaign proved to be a season to remember for Hill following on from his under-18’s debut back in August 2019. The Liverpool youngster then quickly progressed into Jurgen Klopp’s senior set-up and even made his debut for the first-team during the Carabao Cup quarter-final clash with Aston Villa.

Hill celebrated his recent contract extension by taking to Instagram to showcase his delight upon agreeing on fresh terms with his boyhood club.

His caption read: “Proud moment for me and my family to sign a new long term contract Liverpool hard work continues and can’t wait to be back on the pitch.”

A number of Hill’s Liverpool teammates were quick to respond to the contract news including the likes of Billy Koumetio, Layton Stewart, Jake Cain, Leighton Clarkson, Fidel O’Rourke and Jack Bearne.
