Liverpool are reportedly rivalling the likes of Juventus, Benfica and Lazio in the race to sign Brazilian wonderkid Talles Magno with the teenager warming to the prospect of a move to Anfield – and Kopites have reacted on Twitter.
Magno, 26, has caught the eye of the Premier League champions according to Portuguese outlet EsportsNewsMundo.
Liverpool seem keen on the progress of the 18-year-old who has been described as the ‘next Neymar’. As of yet, however, there hasn’t been an official offer from the English, European and world champions.
The report claims Magno could command a fee in the region of £27 million with Bayer Leverkusen, Roma and Sevilla also reportedly interested.

Who is he?
Having made his first-team breakthrough back in 2019, Magno has since clocked up a handful of appearances for club-side Vasco in the state championship, Brazilian Cup and Copa Sudamericana leading to some of Europe’s biggest clubs to pay close attention to the talented youngster.

The report also states that Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp could have the advantage in striking a deal similary to when Pep Guardiola brought Gabriel Jesus to Manchester City with Magno reportedly keen on the prospect of playing under the German manager.
Magno was also part of the Brazil national team that won the FIFA Under-17 World Cup on home soil a year ago, scoring two goals during their procession to the trophy.
Since the victory, Magno has since been promoted to their Under-19 side and has found the net on three occasions during his six appearances.
His current employer Vasco are aware of the growing interest in the youngster and his undeniable talent and have since signed Magno to a new contract last November lasting until 2022 and with a substantial £45million release clause.

While it is unlikely Liverpool will pay such a hefty fee on a player who is largely unproven outside of South America there could still be hope for the Reds to secure Magno on the cheap following reports.
The Mail claim due to the current financial climate Vasco indeed could be tempted to cash-out on the youngster while his value his still high. It is believed that Magno could depart for as little as £18m but the Brazilian club will instead rest their hopes on a higher price with a bidding war.
Liverpool supporters have since reacted to the news that the Reds could go after yet another Brazilian talent who would be in esteemed company joining the likes of fellow countrymen Alisson Becker, Roberto Firmino and Fabinho.
Magno could represent a long-term viable attacking option to cover Firmino, 28, which is a prospect that certainly has excited a selected number of supporters.

The cheapest option is obviously Talles Magno. That's if the £16m-£18m transfer fee that's being touted is true. The boy is still 18 yrs old, wages should be no problem.

While I would love sarr, I think his price tag of above 30 mil is a bit too much for us this current time. While this may seem a bit reactionary, if we get Talles magno, I wouldn't mind using him as a backup. That kid has got some serious talent.
