Liverpool ensured their Premier League title celebrations were done in the grandest of manners after Jurgen Klopp’s English champions beat Chelsea 5-3 in an enthralling match at Anfield.
Liverpool restored parity at the PL summit after their enormous 18-point lead was extended at the top of the tree before Henderson came onto the pitch to lift the trophy – having missed the game through injury.
Naby Keita, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Georginio Wijnaldum, Roberto Firmino and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain were all on the scoresheet for Liverpool – while Christian Pulisic, Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham netted for Chelsea.
However, even one of the matches of the season was overshadowed by Liverpool’s trophy presentation.
There was an outpouring of emotion from everyone inside the stadium when club-captain Jordan Henderson showcased his notorious trophy shuffle before lifting the PL crown to the heavens.

It saw the club extinguish 30-years of title anguish to finally end their hunt for a Premier League trophy, and the club’s first top-tier title since 1990.
It was no surprise to see that such celebrations sparked supporters, pundits, former teammates and others into a frenzy across multiple platforms on social media.
Even the skipper couldn’t help but join in the fun after posting a hilarious celebratory video following Liverpool’s trophy parade.
The clip features an edited video of Henderson dancing to the song Popstar by Drake and DJ Khaled which the Englishman captioned: ‘Woke up this morning like….’.
Dejan Lovren was quick to the scene and left an amusing response which read ‘The knee healed quick’.
