Jurgen Klopp has made four changes to the Liverpool XI that prevailed 3-1 victors against Brighton on Wednesday as the Reds prepare for their afternoon clash with Burnley.
Here is a look at how the Premier League champions will line-up against Burnley.
Starting XI: Alisson, Williams, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Jones, Mane, Salah, Firmino.
Substitutes: Adrian, Lovren, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Minamino, Shaqiri, Origi, Alexander-Arnold, Elliott.
Club captain Jordan Henderson is absent after his season was ended following a knee injury at the Amex Stadium in midweek.
James Milner is also out as a precaution due to a slight muscle issue.
Academy graduate and local lad Curtis Jones has been handed his first Premier League start for Liverpool while fellow youngster and talented prospect Neco Williams retains his place in the starting XI.
Sadio Mane, Andy Robertson and Fabinho also return to the team after Klopp handed all of the aforementioned trio a much-needed rest against Brighton in midweek.
If Liverpool are to win against Sean Dyche’s outfit then Klopp’s champions will move within three points of their all-time record points tally of 98 – and joint second in the all-time English division.
