According to The Daily Mail, Jurgen Klopp is interested in the possibility of making the Barcelona winger a Liverpool player in the upcoming summer transfer window.

The German boss is reportedly an admirer of the Frenchman and believes Liverpool can be the club to reignite the form that forced Barcelona to pay a nine-figure sum to land the former Borussia Dortmund starlet.

Spanish outlet Sport recently reported that the La Liga champions have run out of patience with Dembele which could prompt Liverpool to consider launching an £80 million bid.

The 22-year-old has played just three full games for the Catalonia giants this season and has seen the majority of his season plagued by an ongoing thigh concern.

Brazilian Neymar has been previously linked with a return to the Nou Camp this summer which could potentially be the final nail in the coffin regarding Dembele’s imminent future with Barcelona.

And former Newcastle United and Liverpool left-back Enrique has taken to Instagram to share his viewpoint on Dembele potentially making the switch to Anfield.

The key messages from the Spaniard indicated that Dembele could, indeed, become a ‘key player’ for Liverpool and Klopp but that the Reds should only make a move for the World Cup-winning forward if the price is right.

He said: “Hello reds! What do you think of this rumours of maybe Dembele coming to Liverpoolfc?

“I believe in his prime he can be a key player for any club in the world the only thing he needs is to stay focus and I believe Klopp can do that he knows him very well.

“I believe all depends on the price too. What do you think?”
