Liverpool fans react to latest Jadon Sancho rumours

Liverpool are expected to launch a bid for Jadon Sancho by insiders at Borussia Dortmund according to reports from the Evening Standard – and many Reds fans have reacted on Twitter.

As of yet, Jurgen Klopp has resisted from joining the hunt for the England international with there still questions regarding price and wages.

Dortmund are reportedly demanding a fee in the region of £120 million for their prized youngster and it is difficult to imagine Liverpool paying such an eye-watering fee for a player who has also been described as being ‘consigned to the bench’ at Anfield.

Sancho turns 20 today and is unquestionably one of the most coveted players across the globe.

The report claims that Manchester United are also in the race to land the former City star with a number of other clubs also said to be interested.

Sacnho – who earns £190,000-a-week according to SportBible –  has scored 17 goals and has provided 17 assists for the Bundesliga outfit this season and is reportedly interested by the prospect of returning to the Premier League.

Dortmund were recently eliminated from the Champions League at the hand of PSG which gives the youngster more incentive to begin planing ahead for next season.

New challenge

Sancho is said to be interested with a return to England and wants to test himself after snubbing Pep Guardiola and leaving City as a 17-year-old three years ago.

Liverpool already have a glowing number of options in their attacking department with their pedigreed front-three Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino all amongst the best forwards across the continent.

If Liverpool were to sign Sancho, it would shatter the club-record £75 million fee they paid to land Virgil van Dijk from Southampton in 2018.
