According to the Starsport – via The Daily Star, Jude Bellingham is set to reject offers from the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City with the youngster now torn between either Manchester United or Borussia Dortmund for his next destination.

Liverpool should join Manchester United in pursuit of Jude Bellingham.

The 16-yer-old wonderkid has been a sensation in the Championship during his inaugural campaign with Birmingham City. Having broke into the team back in August 2019 and has made 35 appearances for Pep Clotet’s team – scoring three goals while contributing three assists.

Bellingham was touted with a move to Liverpool previously but could look to follow in the footsteps of another Reds target Jadon Sancho – who is currently at Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

Manchester United remain in the hunt for the teenager after the youngster was spotted visiting the Carrington base alongside both Ed Woodward and former manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

However, United could still miss out on Champions League football next season with the Red Devils just two points above Wolves and Sheffield United in fifth which could be a significant blow.

What RTK has to say

A setback back certainly but no disaster for the Reds.

Signing Bellingham would have been a fantastic addition and the Englishman could have thrived alongside the likes of young talent such as Curtis Jones, Neco Williams, Harvey Elliott and Ki-Jana Hoever.

However, a move abroad wouldn’t be the worst-case scenario for Liverpool if Bellingham were to take his talents away from the English top-flight.

Bellingham – similar to Sanch – could benefit from gaining first-team experience before Liverpool can capitalise and make another approach later in his career.

Anywhere but United or City would be a positive for Liverpool.
