James Milner has posted a hilarious video on Instagram which showcases what the Liverpool midfielder has been doing in his spare time in self-isolation following the spread of Covid-19.

Liverpool players are in self-isolation due to recent health concerns which has led to the suspension of all football activity in the UK until April 3.

All 20 of England’s top-flight clubs will meet again on Thursday to try and unanimously draw up a more detailed contingency plan in case the season does not restart on the suggested date.

Liverpool are among the teams that have decided to self-isolate and stay away from full training at Melwood for the time being as a precautionary measure.

A spiral of videos have emerged on social media of how some of Liverpool’s first-team members have been adapting to life under quarantine.

A popular video emerged of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and celebrity girlfriend Perrie Edwards performing an entertaining dance rendition that amassed over one million likes on Instagram.

Milner’s retort to his supposed and mocked straight-laced lifestyle was to shoot a video showing him rationing tea bags for the week.

However, the former England international has outdone himself once again after posting a clip of himself measuring his back garden and trimming down the grass with a pair of scissors.

His post read: “Now the tea bags are sorted I’ve got time to level out this lawn… wonder if I can borrow Anfield’s Keep off the Grass sign.”
