This summer is sure to see some big arrivals at Anfield. The Reds will have cash to burn thanks to their lucrative kit deal with Nike and forthcoming Premier League triumph. According to his manager, reported Liverpool target Victor Osimhen will be ‘forced to listen’ when The Reds come knocking.

Osimhen currently plays as a striker for French Ligue 1 side Lille.

The Nigerian forward has bagged 13 goals and four league assists for his team this season.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Victor Osimhen for a while, with The Express reporting in January that the club had amped up their pursuit.

Jürgen Klopp may have been dealt a boost in his reported tracking of the player. Speaking after his side’s win over Nantes at the weekend, Lille boss Christophe Galtier told the press:

“[Osimhen is] a sincere boy, he’s happy here. He is appreciated, adored by supporters.

“Afterwards, if in a few weeks big teams arrive with an interest in him, he will be forced to listen. It is the logic of things”.
What RTK has to say

The Reds will be bringing in a striker over the summer, that is in no doubt.
Timo Werner is the hot favourite to join the club but Victor Osimhen also poses an interesting question.
He is young, just 21-years-old, and therefore fits the Reds’ recruitment team’s profile. However, his link up play is nowhere near the level of Timo Werner’s – we can see this in his four league assists to Timo’s seven.
We can’t see this happening for the €70m mooted by Football365 but would could see it happening at a much lower figure, if The Reds decided they needed further backup.
