Liverpool continue on their unprecedented march to a first Premier League title this weekend with the European champions making the trip to Carrow Road to face rock-bottom Norwich City.
The Reds will be hoping to extend their gargantuan lead at the league summit to 25 points with a win at the weekend.
The Premier League champions-elect are just six league wins away from club immortality with Klopp desperate to get the job done as early as possible.
Liverpool were handed a boost following their return from the winter break after Sadio Mane returned to training this week having recovered from his thigh injury suffered against Wolves on January 23.
Jurgen Klopp will undoubtedly be keeping one eye upon Liverpool’s Champions League last-16 bout against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday meaning there could be a few key figures rested before the trip to Spain.
Here is the predicted line-up to face Norwich City:
Goalkeeper – Alisson Becker
The Brazilian shot-stopper is back to his brilliant best following another inspiring performance against Southampton before the winter break– the 4-0 win saw Alisson top the Golden Glove chart for the season with his ninth clean sheets this season.
Right back – Trent Alexander-Arnold
The Scouser in our team will be whipping crosses in for fun with The Reds expected to dominate possession.
Centre back – Virgil van Dijk
Big Virg is still yet to miss a Premier League fixture since January 2018 and will be called upon once again against Norwich.
Centre back – Joe Gomez
The Englishman has become undroppable with Van Dijk and the Englishman registering nine clean sheets in their previous 10 league matches. Also, in Gomez’s last 36 Premier League appearances alongside the big Dutchman, Liverpool have conceded just eight goals.
Left back – Andy Robertson
Robertson will be feeling refreshed following the inaugural Premier League winter break. He’s certain to make the XI against the Canaries.
Defensive midfield – Fabinho
The £39m [BBC Sport] former Monaco man made his first appearance before the winter break since sustaining ligament damage against Napoli back in November. Fabinho needs game time and a run-out against Daniel Farke’s team could lead to some much-needed momentum.
Centre midfield – Jordan Henderson
The skipper has been in irresistible form of late. With a goal and an assist in his previous PL outing, the club-captain is a certain contender for the PFA Player of the Year award.
Centre midfield – Gini Wijnaldum
Arguably our most underrated performer of the season. The Dutchman’s work rate will keep Norwich out of possession and will be vital in transitional periods of the match.
Right wing – Mo Salah
The Egyptian King produced a magnificent break against Southampton before the winter break. Liverpool’s top-scorer is back to his devestating best.
Firmino role – Roberto Firmino
Liverpool’s away-day specialist will be hoping to add to his impressive tally of 10 goals away from Anfield when the Brazilian walks out at Carrow Road.
Left-wing – Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
The Ox made it two goals in as many games on the wing against Southampton a fortnight ago. Mane may be back in contention but shouldn’t be risked with Atletico just around the corner. The England international deserves to keep his place in the Liverpool team and could even make it six consecutive league starts for the first time since 2018.
