The Premier League champions-elect are just six league wins away from club immortality with Klopp desperate to get the job done as early as possible.

However, Liverpool will not be content with the PL title alone this season with their sights now beginning to look towards an improbable treble following their FA Cup triumph on Tuesday and their Champions League last-16 bout against Atletico Madrid just over a week away.

Klopp has harnessed a mentality at the club that refuses to strive for anything less than perfection. Last season, Liverpool were able to take the title down to the final day whilst simultaneously balancing a European Cup-winning campaign on top of that.

The Reds have matured and evolved since losing the league by a solitary point last time around and the team will certainly fancy their chances of competing on all-fronts for Europe’s biggest prizes once again.

Klopp is still yet to lose a two-legged European knockout tie since taken charge at the club and the Reds will definitely back themselves to reach a third successive Champions League final come the end of the season.

No team across Europe’s top-five leagues has come close to the devestating consistency Liverpool are able to maintain on a weekly basis. The Reds have taken 100 points from a possible 102 domestically in the past 11 months and are currently embarking on a 42-match unbeaten league run.

The squad have become more adept in coping with the gargantuan amount of fixtures already this season. Despite a Club World Cup-winning campaign in December, Liverpool were still able to achieve maximum points in the league other the festive period whilst also booking their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Klopp has been able to thoroughly rotate his squad accross numerous competitions this season which recently culminated in the youngest ever Liverpool starting line-up in the club’s history emerging triumphant in the FA Cup earlier this week.

Liverpool are taking their supporters on a journey that has been unprecedented for what has felt like a generation. This meticulously crafted winning-machine is just taking off and is ready to gain speed in the defining period of the campaign.

With two trophies already on lockdown in the Anfield cabinet this season, the Reds will be confident that nothing can stand in their way in their pursuit of European and domestic obliteration.
